Program Structure & Approach

This program is delivered through an engaging 3-day, in-person workshop, led by two expert facilitators. With hands-on activities and real-world scenarios, Design Thinking in Teams provides a dynamic, immersive experience that ensures personalised guidance and impactful learning.

The Immersion Phase

We begin by understanding your current collaboration processes and identifying a relevant, impactful challenge to tackle during the program. Challenges can be aligned with strategic goals or suggested by participants to ensure relevance and engagement.

The Foundation: 3-Day In-Person Workshop

A dynamic, hands-on experience led by two expert facilitators, focused on applying Design Thinking techniques.

• Day 1: Understanding the Problem

We dive into the Problem with the aim to build a shared understanding in a team. Depending on a problem, we might propose methods such as lStakeholder Mapping, Rose Thorn Bud, and Experience Mapping. The final approach and portfolio of methods will be developed and curated after The Immersion Phase - as soon as we understand your current process and culture.

• Day 2: Solving the Problem with Creativity

After diving into the Problem, we start solving it. Using techniques like “How Might We?” Crazy 8, and Creative Matrix, we drive collaborative idea generation. Teams work together in small and large groups to brainstorm and expand on innovative solutions.

• Day 3: Prioritisation and Presentation

After developing ideas, teams need to refine and prioritise them, using methods such as the Bull-s Eye Diagram, Dot Voting, and Concept Posters. The day culminates in presentations, where ideas are pitched and receive constructive feedback, ensuring they’re actionable and ready for implementation.

The Day-to-Day: Ongoing Implementation

After the workshop, participants take the learnings and methods back to their daily projects, applying new techniques to enhance collaboration and problem-solving.

The Support: Online Coaching

To ensure long-term success, we provide post-workshop coaching sessions. These sessions include reflection on what worked well and areas for improvement, helping teams integrate new skills into their daily work. Whether in group settings or focused coaching by project or function, our coaching model is tailored to meet your team’s specific needs.
