Overview
Goldenline, in partnership with Kantar and Make Team Work, launched a research project to understand how the COVID-19 pandemic influenced the job market in Poland. With a focus on providing timely insights, the project aimed to uncover emerging employment trends, as well as the challenges and opportunities facing both employers and employees. These insights enabled Goldenline to adapt its value proposition, aligning with the rapidly changing landscape of work during the pandemic.
Challenge
The COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented disruptions to the job market, impacting hiring practices, employment stability, and employee expectations. Goldenline sought to understand these shifts to refine its value proposition and better serve its users. The challenge was to generate data-driven insights that could inform both immediate and long-term strategies for supporting job seekers and employers in a period of uncertainty. How might we capture the evolving needs of the job market and enhance Goldenline’s value proposition to meet new demands during the COVID-19 pandemic?
Approach
To address this challenge, Goldenline, Kantar, and Make Team Work conducted a comprehensive research project using a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods:
• Market Surveys: Kantar and Make Team Work gathered data from both employers and job seekers to understand changing employment dynamics, challenges, and emerging trends.
• In-Depth Interviews: We conducted interviews with HR professionals and employees to explore the impact of the pandemic on their experiences and expectations in the workplace.
• Data Analysis: Findings from the surveys and interviews were analyzed to identify key themes, including the rise of remote work, changes in job security, and shifting priorities in employee well-being and flexibility.
• Strategy Workshops: We held workshops to translate research insights into actionable strategies that could inform Goldenline’s value proposition and enhance its offerings for the job market.
Outcome
The research provided Goldenline with a deep understanding of the pandemic’s impact on the job market, enabling them to adapt their value proposition to better serve both job seekers and employers. Key insights into remote work, job security, and employee expectations informed the development of features and resources that addressed the needs of the evolving workforce. This interdisciplinary collaboration underscored the value of swift, impactful research in times of change, positioning Goldenline as a trusted partner for navigating the new realities of work.
