KLU MBA: Teamwork Training in Hamburg

Challenge

MBA students often come from diverse backgrounds and face the challenge of working effectively in teams with varying perspectives, cultures and dynamics. KLU needed a program that would provide students with actionable strategies to build strong team collaboration, resolve conflicts, and enhance communication. The challenge was to design a training that would be both engaging and impactful, ensuring students were prepared for the complexity of modern workplaces.

Approach

We co-developed an engaging training program in collaboration with Rational Games, centred on experiential learning and gamification. Key elements included:

• Effective Communication: We designed interactive exercises to improve clarity, active listening, and team dialogue.

• Conflict Resolution: Through scenarios and role-playing activities, we helped participants practice managing disagreements constructively.

• Team Dynamics: We facilitated group exercises to explore team roles, build trust, and foster cohesion.

• Gamification Techniques: We incorporated games and activities to reinforce learning, ensuring the training was both memorable and enjoyable.

By blending expert presentations with hands-on activities, we encouraged participants to apply their new skills in real-world contexts.
